We have finally reviewed the last files for the game, and the factory has started the production of the whole printing. It has been a long journey, but we are finally here. Thank you for your patience ⭐️

Under the current scenario, we hope that the printing at the factory will take approximately 5-6 weeks (these are approximate timelines provided to us by the manufacturer).

Here, you can see how precise our discussions were for each element 😅

By the way, all the cards will fit perfectly in the tray, even with the sleeves 🤘

Hello everyone!

First of all, we apologize for such a long waiting. We are waiting for the boxes together with you, but there is more time required for manufacturing. We are working hard on this one and will deliver an amazing quality product. We are sorry we are behind the deadline, the game is getting to its final stage of manufacturing.

Manufacturing Update

We finally got plastic samples of the miniatures and color test. We tried to achieve high detalisation in the miniatures and make them fit in the zones of the board just right.

The tray is the most challenging part of the project. There are tons of components that should be organized for a comfortable setup. We have remodeled the whole construction several times to bring you the best experience of interacting with the game.

We have received the white sample to make all the adjustments not only on paper but making sure the components have the real proper size.

Once again, we want to thank you for your patience and hope for understanding. We are doing our best, and as you can see, the game is really getting close to its final printing phase.

We know it has been a while since the last update. Thank you for being patient with us!

Now we finally have some pictures from the manufacturer to share. By the way, the minis are made by Eastar — one of the best manufacturers in the world. We wanted to deliver the best quality possible and decided to work with them.

First of all, the colors of the miniatures. After several variants, we settled on the exact colors the miniatures will be of. We are really happy with the result and believe it looks very similar to the renders.

 Carriers and buildings! Look how detailed they are. This is a wax sample. Just making sure no details are lost because of the size.

The game has finally reached the production stage!

What does that mean?

Printing is a complex process that includes file verification, mold casting, production of miniatures and cardboard components. Moreover, there is always a queue at the factories. Therefore, we ask you to be patient with us. Printing the game may take several months. All this time, we will be sharing new data — current deadlines and stages.

At the moment, we are checking the files with the factory for the final time — to make sure the game will come to you exactly as it was designed.

We will be ready to reveal more details (e.g., white sample) soon ⭐️

Hello there, Janus explorers!

Feels like we owe you an update, and we really do. So where are we with Frozen Frontier now? Some of the insider information we have here.

Production

Building miniatures, player markers, qubits, engineers and scientists meeples, and AI tokens will be sent to the factory this week! We are making final changes and measurements. For example, here you can see the carrier base, which has become stronger and more balanced. We are doing everything to be sure the plastic components will look great.

Deluxe Edition

Some of you have been asking about the rules for the Deluxe Edition. And here we are at the stage of another editing of the rulebook. The Deluxe Edition is fully playable, but we still need a little more time to finalize the text of the rules. We will share the file with you once it is ready. It will happen very soon.

So far, we are on time with the whole timeline of the project given on the landing page. We will keep you updated about any changes if they appear.
