Good day, Janus explorers!
We have already started working with the logistics company. However, the manufacturer still checks whether the boxes are packed well enough.
The video shows one of the drop tests. Do you notice what's wrong here? We do!
Once the corrections are made, the boxes will be shipped. Please stay patient, we will be updating you on each step of the delivery.

Production Update

A quick update is here. The production has to finish in the second half of March. This is when the shipping starts. We can't wait to play the game! What about you?

Cardboard, Cards & Printing

Hello, Janus Explorers, and Happy New Year!
We are getting closer to the fulfillment. And here is a tiny update.
1) Everything apart from plastic components is getting ready while we are writing it. The whole printing is on.
2) We are working with the logistics services so they can start shipping games once the copies are printed and packed.

What about plastic components?
The meeples are ready. After several tests, we made a decision to change the material to wood as it is more sustainable and basically looks much better when you look at it in person. We hope that you will like this tiny adjustment too!

White Sample, Digital Sample, Production

Hello Janus Explorers!

There is the news we want to share with you. First of all, we have gone through a series of edits on the stages of receiving a white sample (all the components printed to make sure the sizes are correct) and a digital sample (you can see the video showing the box with varnished elements below). It took us some time, but these edits are essential since two manufacturers are working on the components.

The opposite side of such attention to each detail is that more time is needed to produce each sample. Moreover, manufacturers are extremely busy before Christmas, New Year, and Chinese New Year. There are tons of projects waiting for their turn in the queue. It means that the production very likely will be completed after the holidays in China, which is, our guess, the second half of March.

Choosing between printing everything faster but not being able to control the quality of the final product properly or shipping the games later and being sure you will receive a great product, we had to make a tough decision not in favor of deadlines. 

We understand it sounds unfair and apologize for the inconvenience. Having ordered the boxes for ourselves as well, we are waiting for the boxes together with you 🌙

Two manufacturers?!

Janus explorers!

We know it's been a while since our last update. But here we are, and again, we have to say that the production is taking longer than expected. To achieve higher quality, we are working on this project with two manufacturers, which, on the one hand, makes the final result more predictable as some manufacturers are better at printing acrylic components and others at cardboard, but on the other hand, it stretches deadlines.

We want to assure you that our main priority is to deliver the best product possible. That is why, during the campaign, we unlocked all the stretch goals, and this is why we are taking the production stage so seriously. Currently, single copies of the game are coming to our office. We will share their photos together with the deadlines once the boxes arrive.
